FAQ
How is the material cost calculated?
The filament price per kilogram is divided by 1,000 and multiplied by the material weight in grams.
Why is the platform fee calculated at the end?
The fee is normally deducted from the selling price. The calculator increases the suggested price so the remaining amount still covers the production cost and selected profit.
Does this include machine time?
No. This calculator is intentionally simple and does not include machine time, printer wear, failed prints or maintenance.
