What do columns and rows mean?

Columns divide the internal width. Rows divide the internal depth. For example, 3 columns and 2 rows create 6 compartments.

Are the dividers part of the box?

Yes. The walls, bottom and dividers are exported together as one STL file.

How should the divider box be printed?

The STL is exported with the bottom on the print bed and the open side facing upward, normally allowing support-free printing.
