What is the front opening?

The front opening is calculated from the outer dimensions minus the border width on all sides.

What is the rear rebate?

The rear rebate creates a wider stepped opening on the back of the frame for a photo, artwork, transparent sheet or backing panel.

What is the optional back panel?

The back panel is a separate flat STL sized to fit inside the rear opening. Its thickness and fitting clearance can be adjusted independently.

How should the frame be printed?

The STL is exported with the front face on the print bed. This orientation keeps the rear rebate facing upward and avoids unnecessary support material.
