Which material is best?

PETG is generally more suitable for clips that must flex repeatedly. PLA can work for gentle snap fits, but narrow openings and thick walls may cause it to crack.

What opening width should I use?

Start with an opening around 70% to 85% of the fitted cable diameter. Increase it for rigid materials or cables that should be removed frequently.

How should the clip be printed?

The STL is exported with the flat base on the print bed and the cable openings facing upward. This normally avoids support material.
